Creative thinking comes very easily to me. I am not trying to be braggy here, and truly consider this a gift. I suffer from anxiety. Some days it appears to have left me completely in peace, and other days it can be debilitating for absolutely no reason. I have always been very anti-med, and any way that I can create is truly my artistic outlet to peace. Currently cookies is that outlet....
Now with that said, I have had so many class attendees and regular inquiries online asking me how I figure out what to create each day. Would you be surprised to hear that I NEVER seek inspiration from others cookie creations? I strive to be different, and cannot achieve this by doing something someone else does.
So where does my inspiration come from? Literally everywhere else! My mind cranks the word c-r-e-a-t-i-v-e on a 24/7 basis. I often wish I could just have a paid job drawing out people’s designs all day.
I draw inspiration for my projects from the sky to the ground and everywhere in between. So stop and take a moment to really look at everything around you today everywhere you go, and see what inspiration is drawn to you. I encourage you to step outside of the cookie cutter box, don’t look at other cookies for inspiration, and find your inner artist!
